🏝️ If you’ve ever wondered if the beautiful turquoise ocean & white sandy beaches that you’ve seen in Ads, music videos & movies exist…they do around Puerto Rico!

🇵🇷 My first visit to the island was when I was a child. Coming from New York City, I had never seen forests, mountains, or ocean like the natural environments found in Puerto Rico and to this day, even after major hurricanes, earthquakes & flooding I am so happy & not surprised how quickly nature & the people here have recovered! Puerto Ricans don’t sit around & wait, they come together, help each other & whatever needs to be done gets done…eventually! There’s still some cleanup that needs to happen, after all the island was just hit by another hurricane a month ago, but I was pleasantly surprised to find some of my favorite beaches looking as beautiful as ever!

I trust that my research, area exploration, and personal experience sharing have been beneficial! I initiated this project in 2017. Through my journey, I have come to realize the importance of revisiting locations multiple times to provide updated information. This not only benefits me but also aids individuals with disabilities, the elderly, or those with limited mobility. Moreover, it helps raise awareness among trail users and park staff.
